  SLOW service, decent quality food but just too damn expensive!
  
  Stopped by here on Saturday night just hoping for a reasonably quick meal as we were on our way out to meet friends. Got seated at 8:00pm and it was at least 15 minutes before we were asked for a drinks order, by which time we had also decided on food too, so we made the most of the waitress' attention. The waitress herself was very pleasant, and did warn us that because there was a hen's group in the other room, there may be a slight delay on the food. Understatement of the week!
  
  Drinks came and we waited for starters. And waited. AANNNNNNND waited. Aside from the hen's group, the place really wasn't full but we waited a whole 45 minutes for starters (which were tasty but in VERY small servings for $14 ea) and then we waited a further 1 hour for mains. It was 10:00pm before we ate. The meals themselves were tasty, but again, frankly, seemed VERY small for $37. I'm not one to usually complain about serving sizes, but it was hard not to feel a little ripped off when the bill came to $60 a head for that experience.
  
  When I paid the bill, the manager asked if we had plans for the rest of the evening. I said we did but because of the delay on dinner, we'd actually missed one event entirely and we'd now just head home. I was clearly annoyed. No apology from the manager. Instead this customer service genius just asked me...."So, big plans for tomorrow then?" Seriously? Get a clue, dude.
  
  The Melbourne restaurant scene is highly competitive and players like this don't belong in the game. I wouldn't go back. Ever.

  The tempura was so bad -no flavour, dry and too much coating. Im surprised the meal didn't even come with a salad. They should just call it fish and chips then. The salmon was well presented but also lacked flavour. At least the staff are nice though.
